Best tall platform boots for this season:

Carry your feet in style this season as I’ve put together a list with some of the most amazing tall boots you could own right now! I’ve made sure you can brave the cold in them AND be stylish at the same time, so don’t worry about browsing the internet endlessly or wandering through the shops, just check out my suggestions below!

ZiGi Soho Enzy Tall Zip Platform Dress Boots

ZiGi Soho Enzy Tall Zip Platform Dress Boots

This pair of tall boots is sexy and on the daring side of things due to its exposed zipper and concealed platform, comfortable enough so you can wear them for longer period of times, but with a killer tall high heel that will draw all the attention to you!

Animall Tall Platform Boots

Animall Tall Platform Boots

Another daring pair of tall boots for this winter, but rest assured, these are perfect to be worn next spring and autumn too! The back panel of the shoe is elastic, so you can get the perfect fit, just make sure you measure not just your feet, but also the girth of your legs before ordering!

Valentia Over the Knee Platform Boot

Valentia Over the Knee Platform Boot

Another gorgeous pair of tall platform boots, but this time they’re over the knee so you can pair them with either a short sexy skirt or a pair of slim fit pants. The problem with most of the over the knee boots I’ve seen is that they often tend to be a bit tasteless and vulgar, but this pair manages to stay classy and clean! Therefore, no matter how you chose to wear them, you’ll turn heads anywhere you go showing off this daring pair of platform boots.

Emilie Wedge Boot

If you’re looking for a comfortable and warm pair of shoes for the cold winter, then I suggest this stylish pair of wedge boots! The wedge heel is offering great support to your feet, and the inside of the boot is covered in special wool so your feet will be warm and pampered! Also, the shaft is corset-closed so therefore it’s easily adjustable.

Erie European Fit Lug Boot

This boot is all about style and comfort, two qualities we all look for in a pair of shoes but most often, sadly, we can’t find the both of them in the same pair. Apart from the decorative side zipper, this boot is all about a steady heel and a secure sole, but without neglecting fashion demands for beautiful lines and good fabrics. The outcome is stylish and great for you to wear and enjoy all winter long!

Madden Girl ‘Chicc’ Platform Bootie

Madden Girl ‘Chicc’ Platform Bootie

I chose to end this list with a platform bootie for those of you who are not looking for anything above the ankle, just something that goes well in different weather conditions. This bootie does just that, plus it’s comfortable, tall, but has a platform in the front for comfort. It is chic and simple enough so that you can wear it almost every day!

Killer Halloween Costumes for 2016

The Most Popular Halloween Costumes for 2016

After 11 years as the top Halloween choice for kids, the princess costume has finally lost its crown. More children will dress up as an action or superhero this year, dropping princess to the No. 2 costume choice, according to a new survey from the National Retail Federation.

For adults, the most popular choice is a witch for the 12th straight year.

Major movies in the last year — including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad — are inspiring both children and adults alike this Halloween season. Classic costumes and comic book heroes and villains also remain popular.

The presidential election also is inspiring adults, who are either dressing up as the candidates themselves or as political abstractions such as Hanging Chads from the 2000 election or Binders Full of Women from the 2012 election.

Two-thirds of Halloween enthusiasts plan to buy a new costume this year, spending $3.1 billion, according to the NRF. On top of that, Americans plan to shell out $2.5 billion on candy, $2.4 billion on decorations and $390 million on greeting cards. Average spending is estimated at $82.93 per person, up almost 12 percent over 2016.

Overall, 171 million Americans are planning to celebrate Halloween in one way another this year. Seven in 10 will hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Almost half plan to decorate their home or yard, dress in a costume or carve a pumpkin.

The NRF survey asked 6,791 U.S. consumers in September about their Halloween plans.
